Wollfisch by Claudia
Knitted with love. Made with joy.

A beautiful yarn, a special colour – and I already have the next project in mind. Knitting has been part of my life for many years. It is my creative balance and a passion that keeps inspiring me to try something new.
As a mum and aunt, I especially enjoy making little favourites for children: baby blankets, children’s clothes, hats, headbands and baby shoes. I make every piece with time, patience and an eye for small details.
Once a week I meet my knitting group. We exchange ideas, help each other with tricky patterns and inspire one another to start new projects.
With Wollfisch I want to share that joy with you. Maybe you will find a birth gift, a warm hat for cool days or a favourite piece for yourself.
Warmly, Claudia

Knitted with love – and a lot of passion
I’m in the best years of my life – and plenty of yarn and wool has already passed through my hands and over my needles. 😊
What may look like a simple ball of yarn to someone else means ideas, colours, possibilities and anticipation of the next project to me. Knitting has long been more than a hobby: it is my passion and my creative balance.
As a mum and aunt I particularly enjoy knitting children’s clothes. There is hardly anything nicer than turning soft yarn into a unique piece that a child wears and perhaps even adopts as a favourite.
Sometimes I also enjoy smaller, quicker projects: a hat, headband, pair of baby shoes or another little piece that you can hold finished in your hands after a few hours.
Yarn is my little temptation
While others browse shoe or clothing shops, I could spend hours in a yarn store. I love looking at different yarns, combining colours, discovering new materials and getting inspired by all the possibilities.
Then comes the difficult part: choosing. 😉
Which yarn? Which colour? Which project?
To be honest, the decision is often not that hard: I simply take home all the yarn I like and already look forward to the next challenge.
My rule is simple: no pattern is too difficult, no project too small and none too big.
I enjoy trying new things, learning and taking on a knitting project that challenges me a little. That is exactly what makes knitting so rewarding for me.
Knitting together is even more fun
Once a week I meet other knitters. Of course we knit, but sharing ideas and helping each other are just as important.
Sometimes all it takes is one small tip, sometimes a complicated pattern needs a second pair of eyes, and sometimes a conversation already sparks the next project.
That community is as much a part of knitting for me as needles and yarn.
Experience and attention to detail
I regularly knit from official patterns by Lang Yarns and other yarn makers. For me it is not just about following a pattern. I pay attention to yarn quality, workmanship, fit and the small details that make the difference in the finished piece.
Every one of my pieces is knitted by hand, with time, patience and a lot of joy in the craft.
That makes every piece a small one-off. Tiny differences are a sign that it did not come from a machine, but was made by hand.
Lovely to have you here
With my small shop I want to share the joy of knitting with other people.
Maybe you will find a special gift for a baby, a cosy favourite for a child, a warm winter hat or simply something you like for yourself.
Everything you find here was made with a lot of love, passion and a generous dose of knitting enthusiasm.
I hope you enjoy looking around – and maybe you will discover your own personal favourite.
Warmly, Claudia
